🧍‍♂️ Biography

Hello, My name is Yu-Hsuan (Kevin) Lin. I am currently employed as an acoustic engineer, primarily focusing on simulating and optimizing electroacoustic products. With several years of hands-on experience and a solid foundation in acoustics, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, and optimization, I am now actively seeking PhD opportunities in the field of aeroacoustics—a discipline that perfectly aligns with my passion and long-term aspirations.

I hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from National Taiwan University, where I designed and simulated ultrasonic stimulation devices, resulting in multiple publications. I also earned my Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Taipei University of Technology, graduating in the top 7.4% of my class.

Since 2023, I have further broadened my skill set through a series of certifications, including TU Delft’s Aeroacoustics and Urban Air Mobility programs, as well as Flowthermolab’s CFD and Aerospace training. During these programs, I also conducted independent projects related to flow-induced noise, deepening my commitment to developing next-generation noise mitigation technologies—particularly for Urban Air Mobility (UAM) applications.
